Pastor Emeritus George C. Clausell
Pastor George C. Clausell is a native of Monroeville, Alabama. He and his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Wynn Clausell, are the parents of five children, one deceased; grandparents of fifteen and great-grandparents of nine.
Pastor Clausell was called to ministry over 40 years ago. Retiring from over 20 years of military service, he decided to answer the call of God to rededicate his life to the Lord. After several years of biblical teachings and pastoral appointments throughout the United States; he was led to become the visionary and shepherd over Greater New Life Church, Inc. International in Tuskegee, Alabama, where is wife Co-Pastors alongside him.
Often referred to as a "father figure," Pastor Clausell has shown himself to be one that is filled with humbleness and compassion for lost souls. The ministry that God has given him is a continuing source of prayer and evangelism for Tuskegee and its neighboring cities.
Over 20 years, Pastor Clausell has expanded his ministry outreach to spread the word of God internationally at Christ Victory Life Church Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa pastored by Bishop Napoleon Obayojie.
Pastor Clausell embraces community service and has received several proclamations and resolutions for dedicated service in the ministry. He has accepted certificates of recognitions, appreciations, awards and tributes for valuable contributions to the surrounding areas. His most recent proclamation was received in 2016 from the governor of Alabama, honoring him for 27 years of faithful service as Pastor of Greater New Life Church, Inc. International.
Pastor Clausell's motto is "Don't be anxious, be prepared." His favorite scripture is Psalms 133:1 which states, "How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Pastor Elizabeth Wynn Clausell
First Lady Elizabeth Wynn Clausell is a native of Greensboro, NC. During her teenage years, she lived in Nigeria, West Africa where she recently returned to speak alongside her husband, Pastor George Clausell, in Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa. Therefore, the Lord has spoken saying that Greater New Life Church is much larger than four walls. She has also traveled across Europe and Asia.
Co-Pastor Liz, as she is affectionately referred, is a source of strength to the ministry. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics Education and Professional Certification in Early Childhood Education from Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, Ala. She went on to receive a Master's in Education from Auburn University Montgomery located in Montgomery, Ala. For 19 years, she taught kindergarten and first grade students in the state of Colorado and Alabama. She has brought her award-winning teaching styles to mentor and train future leaders for the Kingdom of God.
Co-Pastor Clausell embraces community service as an exhilarating part of her life. She serves as chaplain for the Tuskegee Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and for the Macon County Education Retirees Association. She is a member and Vice President of the East Central Alabama Mental Health Board. Additionally, she is a member and past secretary of the Macon County Minister's Council, Tuskegee, AL.
God has equipped her to minister and speak in numerous churches in the surrounding areas. She has been the presenter of several workshops, seminars and conferences on "Family Life Issues." She counsels and also assists with the vision and leadership responsibilities of Greater New Life Church, Inc. Currently, she spearheads Christian Education studies at Greater New Life Church, Inc. International.
Her favorite scripture is Psalms 3:3 "But you are a shield around me. O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head."
